The Guest List Moderator Team Lead is responsible for providing leadership and supervision mainly through his/her own actions by setting the standard for all Guestlist Moderators to follow. This position supports a broad range of supervisory activities and/or promotes venues and creates goodwill for company’s services among customers or prospects. The Guest List Moderator Team Lead ensures all front door operations are running efficiently while managing guests entry into the venues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provides leadership, support, & guidance to Guestlist Moderators
Monitoring team performance
Assist with guest entry (guest list, presale tickets, bar cards, LVPP, hard tickets / passes, general admission, & tours.)
Acts as a liaison between Guestlist Moderator staff & management
Manages employee requests & transgressions
Handles customer issues & manages conflict
Works directly with venue management to oversee door operations
Works directly with promotions management with door set up / rules
Monitors attendance
Provides great customer service to internal and external customers
Maintain a consistent and high level of productivity assisting scheduled Guestlist Moderators
Set-up and shut down of technology (iPads and scanners) at the promotional level
Notify MOD of all breaks, leave of rotation or duties in which one cannot perform at the time of assignment
Completes various reports
Assist with training of new hires for assigned venue/s and Guestlist Moderator tasks
Responsible for maintaining assigned workstations/offices/podiums in a neat and orderly fashion
Always lead by example
Inform management of any complaints, comments, or feedback through reports and/or emails
Welcoming guests to the venue in a warm & friendly manner
Responds to guest’s inquiries & requests in a timely, friendly, & efficient manner
Performs opening & closing duties
Maintain a proper and professional appearance and attitude
Maintain and promotes a friendly professional atmosphere for patrons and co-workers
Attentive to all company related events and upcoming venues and changes
Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents
Familiarity with health & safety restrictions
Helps fellow team members & other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
Remain alert for any suspicious persons or activities
React professionally and rationally in emergency and pressure situations
Identify intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests and reports them to Security
Constantly pays attention to surroundings and to customers
Communicate professionally with all management inside host properties
Assist and/or completes additional tasks as assigned
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Guest List / Ticket training.
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
i.e. High School Diploma Required or equivalent / Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
21+ years of age
