What you’ll do:

  • Consistently deliver a culture of Enlightened Hospitality to guests and team members
  • Exhibit warmth and professionalism when communicating with guests whether in-person, by phone, email, or the reservation system’s messaging feature
  • Serve as the liaison between senior leadership, key operators, events teams, and guests in finding the right fit for reservations, simultaneously setting up excellent experiences and maximizing dining room capacities
  • Develop relationships with guests, concierge services, executive assistants, and departments within the New York Marriott Marquis
  • Support with guest review tracking and responses, and other administrative needs surrounding reservations and guests
  • Make strategic decisions that maximize cover counts, drive revenue, and positively impact guest sentiment such as “surprise and delight” moments
  • Effectively and responsibly use guest and reservations notes in creating positive and memorable experiences

What we need from you:

  • Availability for a fully in-person role
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in a front-of-house hospitality role strongly preferred
  • Conflict resolution skills, strong attention to detail, and professionalism
  • Knowledge of OpenTable strongly preferred
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
