The Lifeguard’s primary responsibility is to ensure guest safety in the pool areas and provide excellent customer service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
This is not an all-encompassing job description. It is dependent on the venue of hire and offered position which will be presented for review and acknowledgment upon hire
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
Adhere to all company standard operating procedures
Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus, and pricing
Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
Maintain line of sight/atmosphere of the pool, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the pool area throughout shift
Appropriately addresses any issues, concern, or guest violations with guests
Recognize and respond effectively to all emergencies
Enforce all facility rules and regulations
Reports any unsafe conditions to the Pool Manager, Security or Lead Lifeguard
Recognize and/or monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention
Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures
Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Minimum of one to three (1-3) months related work experience or training preferred
Valid Driver’s License
18+ years of age
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
