Our Porters/Cleaners ensure a safe and clean environment for all employees and guests.
- Porters/Cleaners clean the restaurant facility, including but not limited to
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls)
- Sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming floors
- Cleaning kitchen equipment
- Thoroughly cleaning restrooms
- Taking garbage to the dumpster
- Porters/Cleaners may clean any of the following areas: dining rooms, restrooms, and public areas maintained by the restaurant as directed by store management.
- Porters/Cleaners may be the only person in the restaurant when performing their job responsibilities.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Porter/Cleaner with Mad Mex Shadyside:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Working as a Porter/Cleaner is contingent upon passing a background check
Physical requirements for Porter/Cleaner with Mad Mex Shadyside:
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
