Located on the Museum of Modern Art's sixth floor, the Terrace Cafe offers sharable plates, salads, sandwiches, and desserts in a vibrant restaurant setting surrounded by art. With full-service hospitality and expansive outdoor seating, diners can enjoy sweeping views of Midtown Manhattan from the terrace.

Located on the second floor, Cafe 2 offers a family-friendly atmosphere serving rustic Italian dishes. Gather around communal tables and enjoy handmade pastas, sandwiches, artisanal cheeses, and fresh salads, alongside kid-friendly classics that make it a perfect stop for visitors of all ages. 

 

Who you are: 

The Receiver is responsible for the daily receiving operations which include the receiving of all deliveries, quality control, and commissary storage organization within the guidelines of DOH and HACCP standards set for receiving and food storage. Other responsibilities include maintaining all receiving and waste logs.

What you’ll do:

  • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain organized storage of products in accordance with DOH and HACCP standards
  • Monitor product quality and report any discrepancies or concerns
  • Keep receiving, inventory, and waste logs accurate and up to date
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, organized commissary receiving and storage area

What we need from you:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in receiving, and working knowledge of food ingredients
  • NYC Food Handler's Certificate is preferred
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the kitchen, including food and beverage areas
  • Requires mobility, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
