What is the Job?

The Maître D’ plays a crucial role in gracious and excellent service, ensuring guests are greeted promptly and properly, leading and training the host team, communicating special guest requests, and taking ownership for the overall guest experience. They support FOH managers in all aspects of the dining room experience, ensuring that the music and lighting are appropriate for the time of day, checking table settings, spot checking bathrooms, and adjusting d&eacute;cor in the space. They exemplify the spirit of hospitality, leading by example in polished uniforms and professional presence.

In addition, the Maître D’ works closely with the Events team, acting as a liaison for tours, connecting contacts with our Events team, welcoming private dining guests to their space, and ensuring these rooms are always set up for walk-in tours and last-minute bookings.

What are the responsibilities?
