The Infrastructure IT Engineer plays a critical role in delivering reliable, secure, and high-performance technology across a dynamic, multi-use, event-driven venue environment. This role supports live events, hospitality operations, and shared-tenant systems, ensuring technology is operational before, during, and after events that occur nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours. This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys supporting live operations, and understands that technology downtime is not an option when the doors are open.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide on-site and remote IT support for venues that operate nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with live events and hospitality operations.
Proactively prepare venue technology prior to events, remain available during live operations, and support post-event teardown and reconciliation.
Build and manage a flexible, self-directed work schedule based on venue event calendars and operational needs rather than a traditional 9–5 workday.
Support multi-functional venues within a shared building environment, coordinating IT services across multiple tenants, systems, and operational stakeholders.
Maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware and systems, ensuring all venues are fully operational for daily service and live events.
Support Micros and/or other hospitality technology platforms, including troubleshooting during high-volume operational periods.
Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and POS equipment.
Install, configure, upgrade, and replace hardware and software as needed to meet evolving operational demands.
Maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware and systems, ensuring all venues are fully operational for daily service and live events.
Support Micros and/or other hospitality technology platforms, including troubleshooting during high-volume operational periods.

Create, respond to, and resolve IT support tickets, providing timely and effective resolutions for end users.
Deliver white-glove technical support to venue staff, hospitality teams, and leadership in high-pressure live environments.
Provide training, guidance, and technical education to end users on Windows and macOS platforms.
Communicate clearly with users throughout the resolution process, ensuring transparency and confidence in IT services.
Provide leadership with real-time notifications regarding potential system issues that could impact live operations or events.
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Manage IT asset and inventory control for computers, hardware, software, and peripherals across multiple venues and tenants.
Ensure technology standards are upheld while adapting to the unique needs of event-driven operations.
Partner with IT Administrators and IT Leadership on infrastructure initiatives, venue upgrades, and special projects.
Support technology rollouts related to new venues, tenant spaces, events, and operational enhancements.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the broader IT and venue operations strategy.
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline required
Hospitality, live event, or venue-based IT experience strongly preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience in computer systems, infrastructure, or corporate IT support preferred
CompTIA A+ certification preferred (Network+ or similar a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, POS systems; Oracle knowledge a plus
Experience supporting workstations, mobile devices, printers, LAN/WAN networks, and hardware/software repairs
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users in fast-paced, live environments
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Valid Driver’s License
Must be eligible to obtain a Passport for international travel
