The Manager, Marketing Partnerships is responsible for generating new partnership revenue and assisting with the overall efforts of the Marketing Partnerships department. This position must both develop new business and nurture existing relationships with valued partners. The Manager, Marketing Partnerships must leverage strategic platforms demonstrating to a client, or prospective client, that Tao Group Hospitality properties create opportunities to achieve key brand objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Primary responsibility to sell the across all TAO Group Hospitality properties
Focus efforts designed to maximize revenue streams for individual properties and the organization globally
Develop new accounts and service existing accounts
Manage current and prospective accounts on a daily basis to drive activity and reinforce value
Meet each week with VP Marketing Partnerships to review current and new business development strategies and prospecting
Coordinate calls and activities for and with the Marketing Partnership team
Assist in the creation and execution of Marketing Partnership programs and platforms
Assist with all marketing efforts of the Partnerships business
Make calls, close sales and renewals
Assist with the creation of dynamic pitch and partnership recap materials
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Sales experience in sponsorship, entertainment or related industry of 3 to 5 years
Extensive knowledge of the marketing and advertising industries with a particular focus on hospitality and entertainment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong negotiating/sales/closing skills
Strong leadership skills
Works well with a broad cross section of functional teams
Goal oriented and can promote a team atmosphere
Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally
Strong analytical skills
Industry knowledge and relationships
Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Photoshop
21+ years of age
