POSITION SUMMARY:
The Set Up Attendant plays a key role in preparing the dining room for service and ensuring the space is clean, organized, and welcoming. This position supports the front-of-house team by setting tables, arranging service areas, and maintaining overall readiness before, during, and after meal periods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
Provides professional and exceptional service
Prepare dining areas before service, including setting tables, arranging chairs, and stocking service stations
Ensure all table settings meet restaurant standards for cleanliness, presentation, and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and resetting sections quickly
Help maintain backofhouse storage areas for linens, tableware, and supplies
Communicate with management and service staff about any shortages, maintenance issues, or special setup needs
Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings
Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example
Portrays a positive and professional attitude
Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments
Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Set Up Attendant training
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
