Intern, IT at Tao Group

This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment, assisting with day-to-day technical support, system maintenance, and IT operations across corporate and venue locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, POS systems, printers, and mobile devices
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including user account setup and access management
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate more complex problems as needed
  • Help maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation
  • Assist with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance tasks
  • Support IT projects, rollouts, and upgrades across corporate and venue locations
  • Respond quickly to support requests and communicate status updates in a timely manner
  • Follow company IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned

 

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Currently enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking fundamentals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly in a support environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred

  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume
  • May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
  • Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
